Wildkogel Sunset Tour
This is an incredibly beautiful tour, which takes place just once a week between July and the beginning of September and is an absolute must for each and every visitor to the area.
What
The tour begins with a cable car ascent from Neukirchen to the mountain station of the Wildkogel. The group is met by a guide who leads the way to the summit of the Wildkogel, pointing out the various mountain peaks and other points of interest along the way. The pace is comfortable and the tour is suitable for children who are relatively fit and sure footed. At the summit, there is time to relax and enjoy the view before walking back down to the Bergrestaurant (directly next to the cable car station) where a delicious meal awaits. As the sun begins to set, the group heads outside to enjoy the sunset, a truly indescribable and unforgettable experience.

When
Every Thursday from July to the beginning of September (weather permitting). The cable car departs at 17:30 from the Wildkogelbahn in the centre of Neukirchen and the descent back into the village is at 21:00.
Price
The cable car costs €18,00 pp and the tour €12,50 pp (food is included, drinks are not). This is paid on registration. Should the tour be cancelled due to bad weather, guests are informed in advance.

Exclusive
This year our guests have the exciting possibility to take home some very special memories. Local photographer Alex Frederickson will be available to accompany our guests and document the whole experience from beginning to end. Approximately a week after the tour, each guest/family will receive around 20 individually edited high resolution digital photos via download link. A unique set of memories, captured forever.

€25 per person and payable to Alex before the tour begins. Minimum number of participants 3-4.
